Certified Pre-Owned Inspection & Reconditioning Process

Unlike your typical used vehicle, Chevrolet Certified Pre-Owned vehicles are required to meet a higher standard than most. First, the vehicle in question must be less than 6 years old, have fewer than 75,000 miles, and have a clean title.

Next, these hand-selected vehicles must undergo an extremely rigorous 172-point vehicle inspection, one of the most thorough in the industry. This inspection covers just about everything -- from the Air Conditioning to the shocks, right down to the floor mats and the undercarriage. A copy of this detailed report will be included with your purchase. In addition, a free CARFAX® Vehicle History Report will also be included, helping you make sure the vehicle you purchase has a clean record. Only the best-of-the-best are eligible to earn the prestigious honor of becoming a Chevrolet Certified Pre-Owned vehicle.

Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty

An extension of the New Car Warranty, the Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty provides an additional 12-Months / 12,000-Miles of coverage with no deductible*. It covers almost every part in your vehicle. See below for the list of exclusions.

• Tire damage or wear
• Damage due to bedliners
• Damage due to accident, misuse or alteration
• Collision, fire, theft, freezing, vandalism, riot, explosion or objects striking the vehicle
• Misuse of the vehicle such as driving over curbs, overloading, racing or other competition. (Proper vehicle use is discussed in the Owner's Manual.)
• Alteration or modification to the vehicle, including the body, chassis or components, after final assembly by Chevrolet, Buick or GMC.
• Coverages do not apply if the odometer has been disconnected, its reading has been altered or mileage cannot be determined.
• Damage or corrosion due to environment, chemical treatments and/or aftermarket products
• Damage due to insufficient or improper maintenance
• Damage due to contaminated or poor-quality fuel

Having your vehicle maintained by factory-trained Chevrolet technicians gives you the confidence to take your journeys further than ever before. That's why we include two scheduled maintenance visits within 2 Years / 24,000 Miles with every Certified Pre-Owned vehicle*. Services include multi-point inspections, tire rotations, and oil/filter changes.

If you're an owner of a Certified Pre-Owned Buick or GMC vehicle, you can also have warranty services or repairs completed at any Schumacher Chevrolet Auto Group location or at any of the extensive network of GM-authorized dealerships across the country.

Vehicle Exchange Program

We understand that finding the perfect vehicle for your driving needs is the highest priority. So, if for some reason something changes, you have 3 days or 150 miles (whichever comes first) to exchange your Certified Pre-Owned vehicle for something that you'll love*. Did your lifestyle change unexpectedly? Are you adding a new member to the family? Not loving the color? Whatever it is, our exchange policy allows you the option to find a better fit for your needs. It's just another one of the perks we offer that make Certified Pre-Owned vehicles a step above all other used vehicles.

SiriusXM All Access Trial Subscription

Experience an extensive selection of music, entertainment, news, traffic, and other programming options with SiriusXM Satellite Radio. If your vehicle is satellite radio-equipped, your CPO vehicle will include three trial months of the SiriusXM All Access package*. Additionally, listening on the app and online is included, so you'll hear the best SiriusXM has to offer anywhere life takes you.

3. During your powertrain limited warranty period, 6 years or 100,000 miles from new vehicle delivery, whichever comes first. Limitations apply. Roadside assistance provided by Allstate. See dealer for details.

4. Maintenance visits must occur within 2 years or 24,000 miles of vehicle delivery, whichever comes first. Does not include air filters. See participating dealer for other restrictions and complete details.

5. Eligible 2015 and newer vehicles receive 1 month of OnStar Safety & Security Plan coverage and 1 month of connected services, which includes navigation and Remote Access Plan, and 1 month or 3 GB of 4G LTE data (whichever comes first). Eligible 2011-2014 vehicles receive 1 month of OnStar Safety & Security Plan coverage and 1 month of connected services, which includes navigation services and Remote Access Plan.
