The New 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500

in Northern New Jersey

Every year, it becomes more difficult to make a selection. And it's on purpose. We want you to squirm. We want you to point at one model and quickly change your mind when you see the next offer. We want you to go back and forth in your mind about which way to go. Because it only means one thing. We've done a great job. And this year, choosing the right Silverado trim will only get harder. But it's a good problem to have. Right?

Chevy Silverado 1500 Strength

When you hear the new 2023 diesel engine knocking, it'll be hard not to answer. The 3.0L inline-six Duramax gives your diesel engine a little more horsepower and torque with 305 and 495 lb.-ft, respectively. The returned turbo, new pistons, and new fuel injectors make the 2023 Silverado diesel more powerful than last year's version. But there's a few more engine options available.

The 6.2L V8 is the quickest engine of the engine lineup, with 420 horsepower and 460 lb-.ft. of torque. You can find this version inside the High Country with a 0-60 time of 5.4 seconds. The 5.3L V8 has 355 horsepower and a 6.1 second 0-60 time. And the turbocharged 2.7L four-cylinder engine, standard, delivers 310 horsepower and 420 lb.-ft. of torque.

And when properly equipped, the Silverado 1500 can tow up to 13,300 lbs. in Northern New Jersey. The smaller 5.3L V8 can pull up to 11,500 lbs., and the turbocharged four-cylinder setup will tow 9,500 lbs. Whether you need to help pull a family member's car out of the mud or you want to hang out off-road, the Silverado can answer the call.

Interior Design

There's nothing wrong with the comfortable cloth upholstery at the standard level. Especially when coupled with body-contouring seats for enhanced relaxation during your daily commute. But if you're feeling a little and want to create a luxurious interior cabin, the Silverado is made for you. Premium leather surfaces with exclusive custom perforation are available at the LT trim and above.

For a more aesthetically appealing cabin, authentic open-pore wood trim is available in the High County. This interior design will give your cabin a warm, inviting presence while you're on the road in Northern New Jersey. Because who said the big and can't travel with premium comfort? You can double down on it with available 10-way power adjustable seats with lumbar support, heated/ventilated seats, and wireless charging capability.

Technology

The Silverado's technology will make you fall in love with driving all over again. The standard Chevrolet Infotainment 3 System features a 7-inch diagonal color touchscreen, Bluetooth audio streaming for two devices, and Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto.

But if you're looking for big-time upgrades, you'll find it in the LT trim. Improved streaming for your device starts with the Wi-Fi hotspot, a supersized 13.4-inch diagonal HD color touchscreen with a multi-touch display, and Google built-in. You'll also have voice recognition, in-vehicle apps, and personalized profiles for infotainment and vehicle settings.
